The WikiNomics badges
The WikiNomics Badges represent an ambitious result of the WikiNomics project aiming to boost partners training and exploitation activities. This is made possible, mainly, in two ways:

In the series of quizzes on Open Badges, the present quiz corresponds to the first level in the category "Awareness on Open Badges in the context of a VET (Vocational Education and Training) project" (ref OB01) out of four possible levels.
In totality there are 5 categories of quizzes on Open Badges (OB), each one with 4 levels (stars) of expertise/skills.
This badge represents the level 04 (fourth and last level) - "Convergence Open Badges and ECVET/ECTS" in the badge category "Awareness on Open Badges in a VET project context" (VET = Vocational Educaiton and Training) within the complete learning path related to Open Badges in relation with European projects like the INSIST Project.
In totality, there are 5 categories of Open Badges (OBs), each one with 4 levels (stars) depending on the knowledge/skills/expertise in the corresponding category:
This badge represents the level 03 (third level) - "Context of Open Badges for a VET EU project" in the badge category "Awareness on Open Badges in a VET project context" (VET = Vocational Educaiton and Training) within the complete learning path related to Open Badges in relation with European projects like the INSIST Project.

As the ECVET system, the European Credit system for Vocational and Education Training, is a long process and requires structural involvement at country and professional branch levels to be fully beneficial to the users. MAC-Team decided to support partners of European VET projects in which it is involved, to deploy the Open Badges approach supported by the Mozilla Foundation. This Open Badges approach is not implemented instead of the ECVET objective of a VET project, but comes very well in complement and in preparing it.
